  Most people would define peace of mind as the absence of mental stress and anxiety. The expression “peace of mind” conjures up images of Buddha-like composure wherein calm, comfort, and composure are so prevalent that nothing can disturb the one who has peace of mind. An imperturbable, placid person is said to have peace of mind. The only time “peace of mind” is found in the Bible is the NIV translation of  2 Corinthians 2:13  where Paul says he found no “peace of mind” because he didn’t find Titus in Troas. The literal translation of this phrase is “rest of my spirit.” The Bible uses the word  peace  in several different ways.  Peace  sometimes refers to a state of friendship between God and man. This peace between a holy God and sinful mankind has been effected by Christ’s sacrificial death, “having made peace through the blood of his cross” ( Colossians 1:20 ). As I read the book of Kings, the Lord revealed and reinforced these nuggets of wisdom to me, which I believe is a timely message for the Church today: 1. Visitations from God Will Increase With the Purpose of Releasing wisdom, in 1kings chapter 3 Solomon was visited by God in a dream where God asked him to request what he wanted from the Lord and  He, the Lord, will give it to him. Seeing the gigantic task he had been given to lead the nation of Israel, he asked for   wisdom . Such was the scope of wisdom given to him that he was described as the wisest man on earth. THERE ARE MANY CHRISTIANS WHO HAVE PRAYED TO GOD MANY TIMES ABOUT ONE THING OR THE OTHER BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVE ANY RESPONSE YET , SOME EVEN GO TO THE EXTEND OF ASKING IF GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS.        LET ME TELL YOU GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS, ISAIAH 59;1-2 BEHOLD,THE LORDS HAND IS NOT SHORTENED,THAT IT CANNOT SAVE;NEITHER HIS EAR HEAVY, THAT IT CANNOT HEAR: BUT YOUR INIQUITIES HAVE SEPARATED BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR GOD,AND YOUR SINS HAVE HID HIS FACE FROM YOU, THAT HE WILL NOT HEAR. Many people hold on to the building where we go to worship and fellowship as the "Church", yes that is true to some extend, how ever we must also understand that we are the Church, the building only housed the worshipers,the building without people is just an ordinary building,therefore the people are the Church. 1Corinthians 3;16 (NIV) Dont you know that you yourselves are Gods temple and that Gods spirit lives in you?    We are commanded in Hebrews 10;25 not to forsake our gathering in the Church (building), this is because God dwells in the presence of his people. When we gather and render praises and worship to Him, He inherbits them,because it is our presence that give it value.When God is pleased and worshiped, He command His powers, miracles and blessings over us. 

First John 4:8  and  16  tell us that “God is love.” Never was a more important declaration made than this—God is love. This is a profound statement. God doesn’t just love; He is love. His nature and essence are love. Love permeates His very being and infuses all His other attributes, even His wrath and anger. Because God’s very nature is love, He must demonstrate love, just as He must demonstrate all His attributes because doing so glorifies Him. Glorifying God is the highest, the best, and the most noble of all acts, so, naturally, glorifying Himself is what He must do, because He is the highest and the best, and He deserves all glory. Since it is God's essential nature to love, He demonstrates His love by lavishing it on undeserving people who are in rebellion against Him. God’s love is not a sappy, sentimental, romantic feeling.
